This is an independent contractor, at home online position. This can be done part time but we are looking for passionate people looking to earn certifications and help others book trips, not just for the perks/personal travel. There are no sales quotas, you can work from home or anywhere with an internet connection and you are your own boss. You can decide how much to book, what to sell and when to sell.

--Leads!: Leads from MinMin Travel's website, and multiple facebook groups! Ability to share the deals I find with your friends family and your own business pages. Once you complete training, you'll become an admin in my facebook groups and be able to market for clients in the groups. The owner receives many inquiries per day and cannot take all of them and will be happy to share them with his associates. The owner will also pass along leads that are a better fit for the associate agent (more experience in the type of travel or niche, has experience with children, etc) There is no cost or additional commission taken for leads provided which is unprecedented in the industry. 

Must have completed Travel Advisor Training and passed the TAP Exam to gain access to leads.

-Training and Resources from the Travel Institute- Introductory Travel Program- 350 savings, free access to the courses, only have to pay 95 for the exam, regular cost 449. 300 savings on CTA Program, Regular cost 550 for the course, with MinMin Travel only 250 for the exam (online texbooks are  included).

 Help and Guidance in completing the Introductory Travel Program (Tripkit) as well as becoming a Certified Travel Agent (CTA, the second course). In addition, you'll have Access to travel institute portal with The Travel Institute’s Premium Member Access that provides unlimited use of exclusive online, searchable library of content.

Costs:  

The annual fee to join MinMin Travel is $299, which grants access to our full suite of tools, support, mentorship, and commission opportunities as a hosted travel advisor. For new advisors, this fee is divided into two payments over the course of the first year to allow for a structured and supportive onboarding experience.

• First 6 Months – Probationary Period ($149.50):
  Your first six months serve as a probationary term. During this time, new advisors are expected to:
  • Complete the New Agent Onboarding Checklist
  • Finish at least three supplier trainings
  • Successfully complete the TRIPKIT training program through The Travel Institute
  • Pass the TAP (Travel Agent Proficiency) Exam with a minimum score of 80%.
  • These requirements are designed to ensure that new agents are equipped with the foundational knowledge, certifications, and tools necessary to succeed in the travel industry. If the advisor does not meet these requirements by the end of the 6-month term, the contract will not be renewed, and no further payments will be charged.
     
• Second 6 Months – Renewal Term ($149.50):
  Advisors who complete the requirements and are invited to continue will proceed with the second half of the annual term. During this term, agents will be encouraged to put their knowledge and education learned from the trainings into practice and begin actively selling and marketing themselves as a travel agent.
   

Advisors may choose to step away from the program at any time with no additional payments due. Please note that all fees paid are non-refundable once submitted.

As an independent contractor, there are a few essential business expenses not included in the MinMin Travel membership fee. These costs are typical for operating your own travel business and cover the professional tools and platforms you’ll need to work effectively and serve clients with confidence.

One of the key tools is a client documentation and e-signature platform to manage credit card authorizations, booking forms, and liability waivers. We recommend Travefy, which provides a comprehensive system for secure form collection, itinerary building, and client communication. Annual costs for Travefy typically range from $280 to $330, depending on the plan.

Additionally, new advisors will need to pay a one-time $95 testing fee to take the Introductory Travel Agent Proficiency (TAP) Exam through The Travel Institute. Advisors who are not Florida residents will also need to file for a Florida Seller of Travel Exemption, which costs $50 per year.

When combined with the $299 MinMin Travel membership fee, your total estimated first-year investment to launch your travel business is approximately $775. This represents an exceptional value—most traditional travel business startups cost upwards of $2,000, factoring in LLC formation, liability insurance, marketing platforms, and higher monthly or annual host agency fees.

With MinMin Travel, you receive high-level support, proven tools, and personalized mentorship—all at a fraction of the cost.

Advisors who successfully complete their first year with MinMin Travel become eligible for a tiered renewal fee structure based on their commission earnings during the previous 12-month contract term. This system is designed to reward productivity and provide increased value as you grow your travel business.

Returning advisors who earned less than $5,000 in cumulative posted commissions during the prior year will renew as Platinum Agents at a discounted annual fee of $220. Those who earned between $5,000 and $14,999 will qualify as Emerald Agents, with an even lower renewal fee of $130. Advisors who earned $15,000 or more in posted commissions during their last contract term will achieve Diamond Agent status and enjoy a $0 renewal fee.

All advisors begin as Gold Agents in their first year, with the standard annual fee of $299 (split into two six-month terms). All contracts after the first year are for a full 12-month term, with annual renewals based on performance and commission milestones. Your renewal status and fee will be determined during your annual review.

Commission: 

This is a 100% commission based role.

New agents without prior experience will start at 70% commission 

MinMin Travel offers one of the most rewarding and transparent commission structures in the industry. Advisors can increase their earnings over time through both commission tier upgrades and bonus programs, recognizing and rewarding performance, education, and personal travel.

All agents begin with a 70% base commission split, which applies to all supplier commissions paid to MinMin Travel via Square (including bonuses). As agents accumulate posted commissions, their base split increases permanently:

• $0–$19,999 in cumulative posted commissions:
  70% commission (starting tier for all new agents)
   
• $20,000–$44,999:
  75% commission (upgrade once $20,000 threshold is reached)
   
• $45,000+ with both CTA and ACC certifications:
  80% commission (early promotion available with professional credentials)
   
• $50,000+:
  80% commission (standard promotion, no certifications required)
   

Note: Cumulative totals are based on all posted commissions through Square. Progress does not reset annually, and once a new commission tier is earned, it is permanent.
 

In addition to your base commission, MinMin Travel offers multiple bonus programs that increase your earnings by an additional +10% on eligible bookings. (80% for example for all starting agents)

1. Personal Bookings Bonus

• Applies to your own travel and bookings for members of your immediate household
• Unlimited use, but must notify Minoru Matthews when the booking is made
• Cannot be stacked with other bonus types (10% bonus is the max)
   

2. Productivity Bonus

• Earn 5 productivity vouchers for every $5,000 in cumulative commissions
• Vouchers must be logged on the designated Google Form and used within 12 months
• Can be applied to any client booking
   

3. Friends & Family Bonus

• Available for bookings made for family and friends outside of your household
• Includes 25 vouchers per travel year, with up to 10 carryover vouchers
• Must be logged using the voucher tracking form
   

MinMin Travel also celebrates your professional development with special one-time achievement bonuses for completing key certifications and tools:

• TripKit Completion:
  $50 bonus + 3 Productivity Vouchers
  (Requires passing TAP test with 80% or higher)
   
• CTA Certification:
  $125 bonus + 5 Productivity Vouchers
  (Requires passing Certified Travel Associate exam with 70% or higher)
   
• ACC Certification:
  5 Productivity Vouchers
  (Earned by completing CLIA’s Accredited Cruise Counselor credential)
   
• Travefy Sign-Up Bonus:
  $50 bonus
  (When signing up through MinMin Travel’s Travefy portal, paying for the annual plan, and remaining active for at least 3 months
